If you have water inside your glass units, or your UPVC double glazed glass has lost its manufactured seal. This may have been caused with age, blocked or lack of drainage within frame, allowing water to travel under and away through internal window drainage system, however if the drainage is blocked or not drilled out correctly the water stays stagnant and when the sun heats up it causes capillary action to occur, and the unit soaks up moisture inside panes.

Replacing the failed glass units
All doors and windows are repaired using a total heel and toeing procedure, all panels, sashes or glass units are always packed up correctly and locking compressions always adjusted as standard. When glass units are replaced we always carry out a drainage check. Testing with water to make sure water drains away properly if we find a problem, we always drill out additional holes to ensure units do not fail in future.
